Snow boarders and a skier

Shane and I took the kids to Brigton to do some skiing/snowboarding.  We met Coby & Jess, and Dave, Dustie, Kalie & Kaydon there.

Kennedi decided to switch to snowboarding this year.....so we put all the kids in School while went down the bigger hills.

They had SO much fun!  Kennedi, of course, is a natural!  She loved it, and said she isn't going back to skiing.

Dax didn't even want to leave his school to eat lunch.....he just wanted to keep going down the hills!

First day of preschool 2013

Today is Daxton's {3rd} first day of preschool!!  He's a pro at this by now.  He didn't want us to take him, he wanted to ride the bus with Kennedi.  Even though I really wanted to take him for his first day, I just couldn't tell him he couldn't ride the bus.  

Is it Spring yet?!?!?

Last Saturday was {kind of} nice outside, so I bundled the boys up so they could go out and play with Kennedi and Dax.  They had SO MUCH  FUN!!!  I CAN NOT wait for spring to come so they can get out of the house more!

I LOVE this picture....it is priceless, they are just too cute!

Then that night, ALL THREE BOYS got sick with diarrhea and started throwing up all over the house.....my carpets took a beating!!  Poor little guys!  All they wanted to do was lay around for about 4-5 days!  I felt so bad for them, bu I sure did love all of their cuddles!!

Spiderman Birthday Party

I didn't go all out for this party, because well, they're 3-4 years old, but Dax kept saying "Wow, this is AMAZING!" , so if he was happy, I was happy!

How lucky is this little boy?!?  These are all of his best friends and they all live on this street!!

We played a few games.......of course there was PIN THE SPIDERMAN ON THE WEB, Brody had to play too!!

And then they got to "practice" their WEBSLINGING skills.  This game was a blast for them......they had to try to  hit the Green Goblin with a can of Silly String, which for these little guys, wasn't as easy as it sounds.  I think Shane got the worst of it!!

Kenna was a big helper, keeping track of everything on her Ipad (of what, I'm not sure), and Brody thought he was just one of the big kids (Bronse slept through all the fun).

Daxton's first day of preschool 2012!!

Dax becomes a little awkward when the camera comes out, he starts making all kids of weird faces and won't look directly at the camera, he gets so embarrassed!  It remind me of the Friends episode where Monica and Chandler are trying to get their engagement pictures done, and every time the camera comes out, Chandler can't smile right and looks ridiculous!!   

I feel like my little boy is getting so big!!  He just started preschool again was so excited!!  Last year his teacher said he didn't talk to her or the other kids very much, so I've been telling him for about a week that he has to talk to his teacher!!  When he got off the bus, I asked him how school was and he said "I talked to my teacher!!".  He is so funny!  

I love watching him get on and off the bus....he just seems so small but so big at the same time!

Big Sisters are So Fun!!

Kenna and Dax are best little buddies, and the older he gets, the more fun they have together.

Kennedi's favorite thing lately is to go in and get Dax out of his crib when he wakes up from his naps.......sounds scary I know, but she carries him all over the place and is pretty darn good at it.

The other day, she got this toy stroller out, put him in it, and pushed him for like an hour around the house....it was so funny, he was just kicken back in it. Now they do it all the time.

Not New Anymore!!

So here is how my night went.........


As I was doing dishes after dinner, Dax was on the floor in the living room playing. After a little bit, he started to cry. I went and picked him up to find poop all up his back. I went and changed him, got him all cleaned up, put the poopy clothes in the washer, and just left him in a diaper because I would soon be putting his jammies on.

I put him back on the floor to play and continued on with the dishes. When I was done, I saw that he had crawled over to the edge of the carpet where he was just sitting being all smiley and cute. I went and picked him up to find that he was poopy yet again, and this time it leaked out the leg and got a little on the carpet. I then got a little frantic because well there was poop on my brand new carpet. I then rushed him into his room, got the poopy diaper off and decided he needed a tub, but first I needed to attend to the little spot of poop on the carpet. I left him in his room naked, yelled at Kenna and told her to watch him and went and cleaned up the poop.

Ahhh....I started to feel better. I then went to get Dax to go put him in the tub and there he was crawling down the hall (still naked). I picked him up and started walking, stepping in something wet, and thinking to myself that I wished he would stop drooling all over the carpet, then I got to his doorway and saw this.....


Yes.....that is a big glob of poop (the picture doesn't do it justice, it was almost the size of my hand) !! I then realize that the wet stuff I thought was drool down the hall was more poop and that I was holding Dax who was covered in poop.

Totally freaking out at this point and about to die laughing. I hollered at Kennedi to come look at what Dax had done and she started dry heaving which was also hilarious.

So I went and sat Dax in my tub while I cleaned all the poop up. Luckily it all came out of the carpet, and then I went in to find him smearing poop all over the tub....


But seriously....how could I possibly be mad at this little baby? Isn't he just the cutest?

He's 8 Months

Tonight as I sat and rocked Dax in the rocking chair before I laid him down for bed, I felt so sad. He is 8 months old today, and time seems to be going by just too darn fast.

I love the fact that he still lays his head on my shoulder and nuzzles his little face in my neck while I rub his back, and I wonder when he is going to stop doing that. I tell myself I will remember these little moments forever and think it will be so easy, but when I think about Kennedi as a baby, it's is so hard to remember the little things like that.

I get a lump in my throat when I think about him turning 1. I guess it is because it took me so long to get him, and who knows if we'll be blessed with anymore kids.

He is just the sweetest, cutest, little guy I know!

Sanpete County Fair & A Little Dax

On Saturday, we went to the Sanpete County Fair in Manti. We had a good time. We did the Parade for Humana and then headed over to see the animals and go on some rides.

We ran into our neighbors, and kennedi's best little friends, Payton and Rilee. Payton was all ready for the Rodeo...so cute!

Dax was spent...

Ok, so I haven't posted anything on Dax for a while. He is such a sweet heart!! Seriously the best little baby. Last week he cut his first tooth and the second one is almost through.

We got out the high chair when we moved in and he loves it!

He is such a good sleeper. We can just put him in his crib and he'll go to sleep. We put him to bed at 8:00 pm and he sleeps until 7:00 am, and the best part is, he has never slept in our bed....I learned my lesson well with Kennedi, who slept with us until she was 4.

He loves to be on the floor with his toys, he is just getting ready to crawl and he can entertain himself for a long time.

Ok....I know a lot of you are waiting for house pictures so I'll try to take some tomorrow and post them.

6 month pics

We had Daxton's 6 month pics taken today....they turned out so cute, he was so good for them. He cracks me up, I'm still getting use to my little bald baby.

He had his check up yesterday, and weighed in at a whopping 14 lbs 3 oz (3 %tile), 27 in long (70 %tile), and head circumference 17 in (32 %tile).

******6 Months Old********

Daxton is 6 months old!! I can't even believe how fast the time has went by. It took us so long to get him and the first half of his first year is already gone :(

He is such a good baby!! He sleeps so good, I lay him down at 9:00 and he goes right to sleep and only wakes up one time to have a little 10 minute snack. He loves food!! This boy eats anything we put in his mouth (all baby food) and then cries for more, which is a nice change from his sister, who hates all food.

He was starting to get some weird bald spots, so we decided to give him a little buzz today. We cut off all his dark hair, I was so sad. His new hair is all coming in light like Kennedi's.
