All Ready for BABIES!?!?!??

Ok.....so it is 3:45 AM and I can't sleep. I'm feeling nauseous and having some contractions, so I thought I'd come post all this baby stuff and start counting contractions to see if I need to go in and get checked. I've been texting my mom, and of course, she is panicking and worried I am in labor and she won't make it on time. So she is packed and ready to go as soon as I give her the word. LOL

Kennedi and I got our toes done in blue for these little guys....love them!

Here are some pregnancy pics I've been meaning to post:

23 weeks....

30 weeks.....

34 1/2 weeks.....

36 weeks........

37 weeks.....

A couple weeks ago, at 35 weeks, me and Heather took some BELLY shots and had a good time with it......WARNING...you're about to see a big bare belly!!!!

I turned Kenna's old room upstairs into the nursery and it turned out pretty cute. I just used all the same bedding I made for Dax. I still need to hang some stuff on the walls, but I need the babies here before I can do that. I set up one crib a friend gave me in here and we set up our crib in our room where they will sleep for awhile.

Complete with 2 of EVERYTHING!

Dax loves playing with the twin nursing pillow...he is so CUTE!!

A Little Peek......

I had an ultrasound this morning and we got to see our 2 little miracles!! It's always so exciting to get a peek and see what's going on in there and what is making me SO SICK!!!

We were so thrilled to see they are growing and developing right on the money. Below is baby B's heartbeat......

So here is the story on these little ones:

As soon as Daxton turned 1, I started to get that anxiety back, that baby making anxiety. I knew the time was coming when we were going to have to start going through the IVF process all over again and it's very stressful and very expensive. We Still had 10 frozen embryos leftover from Daxton's batch in AZ. In May, we made the long trip down and did a FET (frozen embryo transfer). They unthawed 5 embryos. One died and the other four were in poor quality but we went ahead with the transfer. Two weeks later we weren't really surprised when we got a NEGATIVE.

We then waited a couple of months and went back down in July for another FET. They unthawed the remaining five embryos and again one died. The embryos were a little better in quality then the ones in May, but still not great. Again, two weeks later we got a NEGATIVE.

At that point I started looking for a new doctor in Utah and with some help from a few friends I finally picked one in Provo. We started a low stimulation IVF cycle right away ( I tend to produce a lot of eggs). I did 10 days of injections and produced 14 eggs. From those, 10 turned into embryos and three days later I went in for the transfer. We had 1 A 8 celled, 1 B 8 celled, 1 B 10 celled, and the rest were all C embryos.

My doctor planned on just transferring the A 8 celled and B 8 celled but I talked him into putting in the B 10 celled as well. The other 7 embryos weren't worth freezing because they never made it to 8 cells.

Ten days after the transfer I was totally bummed because I was just sure that it hadn't worked AGAIN! I had ZERO symptoms!! Shane was starting to get mad at me for being so negative. So that night I took a pregnancy test to prove to him that I knew my body and I wasn't pregnant. I think as soon as a peed on it it said PREGNANT. I was completely shocked!

Two days later I went in for my blood work and when they called me with the results they said: "congratulations, you are pregnant and it's definitely multiples. Come in in a week so we can see if it is twins or triplets".
We were so excited and a little nervous. We were definitely hoping for twins, triplets is just scary!
When I went in for the ultrasound, my doctor started to look for the sacs and almost immediately said "There's 2!"

We were so relieved and so so excited!

Our little ones are due on their daddy's birthday 6.30.11!!

Wow...What a day!!

Happy Mother's Day!!

Kennedi got me the best Mother's Day present......Pink flower flip flops (size 1/2). She was soooo excited to give them to me, she couldn't wait until today, so she gave them to me yesterday. She told me she got them so we could share them, she is so funny!

Today is also special because it's our

8 Year Wedding Anniversary!!

Wow....that seems so weird that I've been married that long. We've been through a lot together, and I feel so lucky to be married to such a good guy. We still have so much fun together, and have the cutest dang kids!!! :-)

Also kinda weird, 1 year ago today we did our 3rd round of IVF and our little Dax was implanted in me. This is what he looked like. He was a 3 day old embryo....kinda cool!!
And this is him now, 4 months old....what a miracle he is!!! We just love him so much!!

Our house is coming along great! First of all, I just have to say that we have the BEST family!! My mom and dad came over on Friday along with my brother Matthew and his girlfriend Heather, and my aunt and uncle. They all stayed the weekend and roofed our house, and Matthew started wiring it. We also had a lot of help from Shane's dad and brother, and some friends.

They got the roof over half way done, so my dad is staying the week to help Shane work on it, and Matthew will be back next weekend to finish up the electrical.
Kennedi hangin out with her buddies and future neighbors.

A little baby update.....

When I saw my doctor on Dec 18th, I was 33 weeks and 5 days along but only measured at 32 weeks. So I was sent straight over to the hospital for a non-stress test, and ultrasound. Everything went good, he passed the non-stress test, and from his over-all measurements from the ultrasound, he measured one day ahead.

When I went back to my doctor on Dec 30th, I was 35 weeks 3 days along, and only measured 33 weeks. UGH!! Then he told me that I needed to repeat the ultrasound because they were sure that the baby was measured wrong. Everything on him measured a week ahead, except for his abdomen, which measured like 3 weeks behind.

So after passing another non-stress test, we did another ultrasound to find the same measurements, and also find that I am very low on amniotic fluid....great!. :-(

Yesterday, I had to go in for another non-stress test, and to check to see if I was leaking fluid....which I am not.

SO.......

I have to have another non-stress test on Monday, meet with my doctor on Tuesday, have another Ultrasound on Wednesday, and if things haven't got worse, he is hoping we can keep the baby in at least until Monday, Jan 12th, if not, then we'll be having him next week.

I have been really nervous, but with all of the non-stress tests, they say the baby looks happy, so I am trying not to worry too much. They think that he just isn't getting the nutrients he needs...so he would be better off out here.

So I guess we'll know more next week.

The Miracle We Have Been Waiting For!!

Ok....so I can finally say that I am pregnant!!! It has been a VERY LONG road to get to this point, and a very expensive one I might add, but it was all worth it. I am a little over 7 weeks along. I had my second ultrasound today and we got to see the heart beat. What an incredible feeling that was to get to see something that we've prayed for for so long.

Kennedi couldn't be happier!! She kept saying we were going to have two babies, but today confirmed only one baby....YAH!!
