I saw this idea on Pinterest HERE. Start out by taking a photo to Staples and have them print it out on engeneer paper for $4.99. Then I created the shape that I wanted for the wood (underlayment board, $15.00) on photoshop and used out projecter to get it on the wood........
cut it out with a jig saw.....
Sand the edges......
Prime it......
Paint it.....I then put a brown glaze on it.....
I got a spray adhesive and sprayed the board and laid the photo down on it and smoothed it out.....
This is a picture of me and my mom right before she lost all her hair and I'm wearing one of her wigs!!
I don't know what I'd do without my mom....she is the BEST!!! It's been so hard to watch her go through breast cancer, but she is so strong!! She has so far made it through a mastectomy, 8 rounds of Chemo, and is currently doing radiation. She has to drive and hour and half each way EVERYDAY for her treatments, and has worked almost full time the whole way through this journey. I look up to her and admire her so much! My world was almost destroyed when she was diagnosed, it was a very scary time, but she has kicked it in the butt, and I know she will get through this!
I made these for my mom and Shane's moms for Mother's Day, I think they turned out so cute!
We spent the weekend in St. George for Baseball/softball state. Shane has been the assistant coach this year, and it was really fun to be apart of such a great team. Dax needed to be held too....it's so funny when Heather holds him!!
The games were SUPER HOT, so I had to take the babies under the stadium to find any shade I could to cool off. Most of my family and Shane's family were down there also, which made it really fun.
While we were down there, there was a zip line set up, so all my family and Shane's family went and did it. It was really fun and fearless Kennedi was the first to do it!
On Saturday night, we went with Shane's family and My brother Jason, and nephew Kyler to Tuacahn to see Brian Regan. He was so good, and we had so much fun!
On our way home on Sunday, we stopped and hiked the the Red Cliffs. It's a really neat hike, and the kids loved getting in the water!
Shane and I have been married for 11 years!!! That just sounds so long, and makes me feel old!!
I love him so much, he is a great husband and even better dad.
We spent the weekend in St. George, and when we checked into our condo, I walked into our room to find this amazing surprise.......
I was totally shocked!! He had pictures from the past 11 years tied to balloons, and on each picture was a reason he loved me, then a few little gifts that were probably more for him, LOLThis is what I did for him.......Listed 101 reasons I loved him and filled this bucket with all of his favorite things. He is such a goof ball most of the time, but he makes life fun!!
