Busy in December!

Well it seems like December has been so busy, and I think we are pretty much ready for Christmas. All the shopping is DONE, my mom and I made lots of candy (that doesn't even taste good this year :( ) my neighbor gifts are delivered, and the presents are ALMOST all wrapped. I had my 12 week check up today and the babies seem to be great, and now I just have to get everything prepared for Kenna's school party on Wed. and then we'll be off to Moab for Christmas!
On Saturday while we were making candy, we got a surprise visitor! The kids haven't sat on Santa's lap yet, so he stopped by. Kennedi is a stinker and new who it was the minute he spoke (one of Shane's buddies). Luckily we've always told her that she'll never meet the real Santa, only Santa's helpers.
Dax wasn't impressed! He wanted nothing to do with him!

Kennedi has danced 3 times this month for the halftime show at the high school basketball games. It just amazes me every time I see her dance. She just keeps getting better and better! I love to watch her!
Here is some ballroom pics with her buddy Payton.....

Here is here Jazz dance....

They danced to "All I want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth", notice her two front teeth are colored black.

Look how fast they grow!

I had ultrasound #3 today, and I am 10 weeks 1 day preggers with these little ones. I've had an ultrasound every two weeks and it's amazing to see the growth in the babies. Today it was hard to get them both in the same picture.

Here is baby A's profile. For my early predictions, I would guess this is a girl. This one is always so easy to see, seems to love the camera, kinda reminds me of Kenna!!!

Baby A head on......
Now baby B I'm predicting BOY!! This one is kinda hidden in there and is a little wiggle worm. It took us about five minutes to get it's heartbeat because it wouldn't hold still......kinda reminded me of our little CRAZY Dax!

Now I'm totally just guessing for fun, I'll be happy with whatever they are (maybe not so happy if they are both boys). Ha Ha

I'm OLD!

Yesterday I turned 30 years old! It's hard for me to believe that I'm that old.

I think I'm ok with it though. I'm almost exactly were I always pictured myself being at this age. I've been married for almost 10 years, and we've made a good life for ourselves and our kids. I always said I wanted four kids by the time I'm 30, and surprisingly enough that has worked out too. I'm so happy and so blessed, I have nothing to be sad about!

We did a little party over the weekend at my parent's house. I didn't feel very good as usual so I look super hot in all the pictures.....

A Little Peek......

I had an ultrasound this morning and we got to see our 2 little miracles!! It's always so exciting to get a peek and see what's going on in there and what is making me SO SICK!!!

We were so thrilled to see they are growing and developing right on the money. Below is baby B's heartbeat......

So here is the story on these little ones:

As soon as Daxton turned 1, I started to get that anxiety back, that baby making anxiety. I knew the time was coming when we were going to have to start going through the IVF process all over again and it's very stressful and very expensive. We Still had 10 frozen embryos leftover from Daxton's batch in AZ. In May, we made the long trip down and did a FET (frozen embryo transfer). They unthawed 5 embryos. One died and the other four were in poor quality but we went ahead with the transfer. Two weeks later we weren't really surprised when we got a NEGATIVE.

We then waited a couple of months and went back down in July for another FET. They unthawed the remaining five embryos and again one died. The embryos were a little better in quality then the ones in May, but still not great. Again, two weeks later we got a NEGATIVE.

At that point I started looking for a new doctor in Utah and with some help from a few friends I finally picked one in Provo. We started a low stimulation IVF cycle right away ( I tend to produce a lot of eggs). I did 10 days of injections and produced 14 eggs. From those, 10 turned into embryos and three days later I went in for the transfer. We had 1 A 8 celled, 1 B 8 celled, 1 B 10 celled, and the rest were all C embryos.

My doctor planned on just transferring the A 8 celled and B 8 celled but I talked him into putting in the B 10 celled as well. The other 7 embryos weren't worth freezing because they never made it to 8 cells.

Ten days after the transfer I was totally bummed because I was just sure that it hadn't worked AGAIN! I had ZERO symptoms!! Shane was starting to get mad at me for being so negative. So that night I took a pregnancy test to prove to him that I knew my body and I wasn't pregnant. I think as soon as a peed on it it said PREGNANT. I was completely shocked!

Two days later I went in for my blood work and when they called me with the results they said: "congratulations, you are pregnant and it's definitely multiples. Come in in a week so we can see if it is twins or triplets".
We were so excited and a little nervous. We were definitely hoping for twins, triplets is just scary!
When I went in for the ultrasound, my doctor started to look for the sacs and almost immediately said "There's 2!"

We were so relieved and so so excited!

Our little ones are due on their daddy's birthday 6.30.11!!

LADY A

So last night I went with my mom and her friends, Carrie and Ellen, to the Lady Antebellum Concert. It was general admission, and since my mom is TOTALLY obsessed with them, we got there at 3:30 to wait in line and the concert didn't start until 7:30!

The good news is we did RUN in and get FRONT AND CENTER when the doors opened.

We were so close, we did actually touch Charles Kelly a few times!

Now I'm not a huge fan of theirs...not a country fan at all....but they really didn't seem country and they put on a pretty good show!

Happy Halloween!!

The past few months, Kennedi has been obsessed with cowgirl stuff, so of course she wanted to be a cowgirl for Halloween. I decided to go ahead and dress Dax up as cowboy to go along with her.....but he REFUSED to wear his cute little chaps, boots, or hat! He can be such a stinker......so I decided to make him Chucky, it's fitting for him anyways, and all we had to do was MAKE him hold still while we sprayed his hair red.

As you can see......he was not thrilled about this whole Halloween thing!
GRRRRRR

Kennedi's favorite part about her costume was her big huge belt buckle that Grandpa Knudsen gave her.

Fall Festivities

We went to the pumpkin patch the other day to pick out our pumpkins for our annual Knudsen Pumpkin Carving Contest.

It was poring rain, but the kids still had a blast picking out all kinds of pumpkins for carving and decoration.

They had a little maze for the kids to walk through and they had so much fun.

It was so funny to watch Dax try to get through it.

Then we all got together to carve them and had so much fun!
Kennedi pretty much did her own, other then some carving at the end. She actually did a really good job!

Here is hers all lit up.....
Here is mine and Shane's....

Our pet SNAKE!

The other day Kennedi and I were outside walking around the yard and as we walked by one of our window wells something grabbed my eye and for some reason I looked in to find a HUGE Black Widow Spider. I walked closer to check it out and then saw this HUGE snake that has made a nice little home down there as well. I kinda freaked out and yelled "there's a snake!!" and we both ran in the house. Now I'm not really a wussy girl, I can handle a lot and snakes don't necessarily scare me, I was just completely shocked, I wasn't expecting it.

I then went down stairs to inspect it from the window and here it is. We never stretched it out to see how long it actually was, but I'm guessing around 3ft. I'm also guessing it'd been down there a while because it had shed it's skin.

Sense Shane was out town, I called his dad to come over and get it for me.

Dax decided he needed to help too, so he went into the garage and got the shovel and came back to get it....so funny!
Here is the skin.....

Dax was pretty interested in it....luckily by this time Kenna was at dancing or she would have had nightmares for months!

Have you seen my Hubby?

It's that time of year....we refer to it as "busy season" around our house. She sells medicare advantage plans for Humana, and from OCTOBER 1st through DECEMBER 31st he is M I A around here. This year he is gone Monday-Friday working either in Cedar City or Kanab and then works the weekends here in Sanpete County.
I can't complain though, because the rest of the year he is home ALL the time (sometimes too much), I'm sure people in town don't even think he has a job most of the time!!
So......anyways......I enjoy my days hangin out with my kids (with no adult interaction), and at night I enjoy my TV shows!

Best one yet!

Dax is really into hiding. He has a few hiding spots that he always runs to when he wants to hide....like if I want to change his diaper or put him to bed.

This is a new one that he found yesterday. I about died laughing because he thought he was being really sneaky!
