Snow boarders and a skier

Shane and I took the kids to Brigton to do some skiing/snowboarding.  We met Coby & Jess, and Dave, Dustie, Kalie & Kaydon there.

Kennedi decided to switch to snowboarding this year.....so we put all the kids in School while went down the bigger hills.

They had SO much fun!  Kennedi, of course, is a natural!  She loved it, and said she isn't going back to skiing.

Dax didn't even want to leave his school to eat lunch.....he just wanted to keep going down the hills!

4th Grade!!!

This girl started 4th grade today!  She's getting so big..... And so blonde!!

I couldn't have asked for a more kind, sweet, talented, or gorgeous little girl to be mine!!

He had a mini birthday party at Hang Time in Orem, and invited her 3 best friends, Aubrey, Elle, and Emma.

Science Fair 2013

Kennedi wanted to participate in the Science Fair this year, which is optional unless you're in the 5th grade.  After looking on Pinterest for days......we decided to do it on sugar crystals.  She had a good time putting the project together, and even though I had the flu, I had fun helping her!

Her board turned out super cute, and if it was judged on looks alone, she would have taken the  grand prize!!! ;)

She won "Honorable Mention", which is the 2nd best, right under "Best in Show"..........she was THRILLED!!

Christmas Piano Recital 2012

Kennedi had her Christmas piano recital last night and she did so good!  I'm so proud of her!  She hasn't even been at this a year and I think she is picking it up and doing great!!

Volleyball Star in the Making.......

This was Kennedi's first year of playing volleyball, and I have to say, she is a natural!!

I coached her team and had so much fun with these girls, she has very athletic girls her age.

They had a great season!!!  They were undefeated and took 1st Place!!!

First day of third grade.....

Kennedi is now in the third grade!!! It's hard to believe that she is getting so big!

She had a blast! She loves all things third grade, especially her teacher Mrs. Hatch. It's going to be a great year!

Softball Champs!!!!

Kennedi has had an amazing season of softball!  Shane was her coach again and they went undefeated this year (well they lost one game, but half of their team wasn't there, so of course I don't count that!!).

I can't believe how good she is at this sport!  She is fast, aggressive, and in it to WIN it at all times!

Dance Works Show 2012

Kennedi's dance production turned out so great this year!  She was in so many of the dances, she didn't even have time for costume changes in some of them.  I'm always so proud of her, I can't even count how many people stopped me after, and still do now, to tell what a wonderful and entertaining dancer she is.  She just continues to grow each year.

Show and Tell

Kennedi finally got to bring her kitties in for show and tell yesterday. She was so excited! It was fun for me to get to see her at school.

Then....lucky us (not), we went to the grocery store and Santa just happened to be there. I tried to talk Kennedi out of standing in the hour line but she insisted (I know, I'm no fun). Dax was mesmerized by him though....

Today I was busy doing some stuff and I walked into the living room to find Kennedi reading her scriptures...with her fake glasses and all. She is so funny!

It Has Come......

Yes, that dreaded day has come......we have cats!

Kennedi LOVES animals and she has been begging for a pet pretty much her whole life. For the last couple years, we would just say "when our house is done", well our house is done and we were out of excuses and we need them for mice.

Our neighbors cat had kittens, and these were the ones she picked out and named herself.

Big Sisters are So Fun!!

Kenna and Dax are best little buddies, and the older he gets, the more fun they have together.

Kennedi's favorite thing lately is to go in and get Dax out of his crib when he wakes up from his naps.......sounds scary I know, but she carries him all over the place and is pretty darn good at it.

The other day, she got this toy stroller out, put him in it, and pushed him for like an hour around the house....it was so funny, he was just kicken back in it. Now they do it all the time.
