Scprabooking

So I used to be a really good scrapbooker. I alway kept Kennedi's updated and she had about 4 FULL scrapbooks by the time she was three. Well I've become a major slacker!! Poor little Dax has nothing.

I have switched to digital scrapbooking and love it....NO MESS! I've been working like crazy on Daxton's book, trying to get at least his first year done. I've made a little progress (about 72 pages worth of progress) but I'm not done yet. Here are some of the pages I've done for Dax's book.....

Our Little "Monstah"

Dax has become quite the the little monster lately. It seems his #1 goal in life is to get into and DESTROY everything!



He climbs up on everything now.....plants on the counter aren't even safe anymore LOL.



Here he is helping himself to some curly fries that were sitting on the table. I thought it was so cute that he was just sitting in the chair stuffing them in his mouth as fast as he could.





He Love, Love, Loves to play in dirt and even eat a little when he feels like it.



And he REFUSES to sleep in the car. We came home from Moab late last night and he never even closed his eyes. I had to hold his hand the whole time and if Kennedi or Shane even touched his car seat he would freak out. Thank goodness for Baby Einsteins!!

Skiing

Yesterday, Shane, Kennedi, and I went to Brianhead and did some skiing. It was so much fun! We put Kennedi in ski school the first part of the day, which she totally loved, and that gave me and Shane time to ski together.

We had been hitting this fun jump all day, and the one time I videoed Shane hitting it, he ate it hard....it was pretty funny.



When Kennedi was done with ski school, we picked her up and took her on a few runs with us. I was surprised at how good she did. I was so proud of her, I'm so glad she is daring and willing to try anything we throw at her.

This video isn't the best, but I wanted to put it on here just to have of her first skiing experience.

Happy Valentines Day!

We had a fun Valentines day. The kids and I made this little card to go along with what we got Shane. (Thanks for the idea Lindsey)

We always leave the kids' treat out on the door step and ring the doorbell and run.

Kennedi got a bulldog and Dax got the red devil. Ever since we moved to Gunnison, Kennedi has been a little obsessed with Bulldogs and Red Devils. (Gunnison is the Bulldogs and Moab is the Red Devils.) Shane has it in her head already that she is a Bulldog and they are the best!! Last Friday when our neighbor Cody picked up Kennedi for school, Payton asked her where her Valentines Day Box was. Instead of telling him she didn't need to make one she said "my mom is a Red Devil so she doesn't know how to make them". She is so funny!

When She saw what we got them, she rolled her eyes and said "I'm glad I didn't get that red devil".

Weekend Getaway

This weekend, Shane had some meetings in Cedar City, so the kids and I decided to go with him.

We had a good time spending time with our friends Trevor, and Jav & Tara. It's so fun to our kids getting so big and play so good together.

I love these pictures of Dax and Krew, Jav & Tara's baby. He is a couple months younger then Dax. He is a little chunk! So Cute!

We had a good time, but it's probably the last time we'll go with him for a while. Staying in a hotel with Dax is hard.....he likes to be in his own bed and go to sleep on a schedule.

Then we got home to find that one of our little kitties had been shot with a pellet gun in the back leg.....poor thing. I feel so guilty for leaving them outside the whole time we were gone. Shane made me.....he said "Oh they'll be fine outside, they're just cats".....ya right, dang neighbor kids! I took her to the vet today and with antibiotics she'll heal up ok.

Her Two Front Teeth

Last week, Kennedi and I went to Provo were she had a dental check-up. They found a couple cavities and from an x-ray saw that the roots on her two front bottom baby teeth were really long and her permanent teeth were growing up behind her baby teeth.

Her dentist suggested that he just pull them while she is here to get her cavities filled.

Kennedi was thrilled about this......she has been wanting to loose a tooth since she was 3 years old when her buddy Blake started loosing his.

They still have to put her to sleep to work on her mouth (she doesn't like shots).

She did so good. She woke up a couple times and said "Ouch" a few times, but would then go right back to sleep.

Isn't she so cute with her missing teeth? She can't stop looking in the mirror.

Happy 1st Birthday Dax!!!

My little Dax is 1 today. I can't even believe how fast this year has went by.







On Saturday, my family and Shane's family all came over for his party. It was so fun.....he has brought so much joy into our lives.

Here are few fun facts about Daxton:

He is the BEST sleeper! He has slept through the night since he was 9 months old, and he has never slept with us.

He started walking just before he turned 11 months.

He loves to tease his sister....amazing how young they are when that starts. Anything she has, he has to have NOW! and he doesn't like it if she sits on my lap.

He nursed until he was 10 month, and then basically weaned himself. This boy loves, loves, loves food.

His hair grows super fast, I have to cut it about every 2-3 weeks.

He only took a binky for about 4 months, and then I tried to force it on him for another month but wouldn't have anything to do with it.

He is on a schedule with sleep and eating and DOES NOT like that to be messed with.

He gets so excited when his dad gets home and screams at him until he comes and picks him up.

He still loves to cuddle when I rock him.

Lovin the Snow!!

It seems like there has been more snow than usual this year. It was fun for a couple of days.....but I'm ready for it to be gone!!

Over Christmas, while we were at my parent's house, it snowed a ton and my dad made this cute Winnie The Pooh snowman.....

Shake It!

I Love My Kids!! They are both so fun!

Kennedi has been sick with the flu and hasn't went to school the past couple days, and today she was feeling a little better and wanted to dance. This girl LOVES to shake her booty. She will turn on our sirius radio on the TV and dance in front of the fireplace (so she can see her reflection) for like an hour at a time....and the girl has some good moves!

And then little Daxton is just so stinkin cute.....he is so small and runs all over the place, it's so funny! Whenever he hears music, whether in the car or at home, he automatically starts dancing too, right along with his sister.

Christmas 2009

We had such a good Christmas! I haven't posted for a long time, so this is going to be a long one.

Here are Kennedi and Dax at our ward Christmas party....Dax wasn't feelin the love for Santa (or Grandpa Knudsen, SHHHH).














We did a family Christmas party at Shane's families house the weekend before Christmas.....

Then we went to Moab for Christmas...and SANTA came!
