A Big Day!!

Woo Hoo!!!!
So today was a big day for us....we broke ground on
our new house!!!
We have been working on the house plans for about 2 months now. I keep changing things....adding stuff, taking stuff out, changing window sizes etc....and even now, I need to change a few more things before they start framing it. I just don't want to regret something when it is done so I'm constantly studying our plans and looking at houses on the internet for ideas.

Here is our hole a little over 1/2 way dug out.

This will be our front view......and yes on a good day you can see the "Nipple" for all of you Sevier/Sanpeters :-)
We are building in Gunnison by the way.
On a side note....I had to take Dax in to get him weighed today, and at 2 1/2 months old the little guy only weighs 8 lbs. So.....more formula and new medication to help him keep his food down. We'll recheck in another 2 weeks.

HOW EXCITING!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see all the progress! I don't know what this Nipple is that you are talking about but when we drive to AZ there is a mountain that totally looks like a Nipple-Steve says it is near Clorine...funny!

How exciting! I'm jealous of your big fat piece of land and that you get to pick everything out.

It's official. I am so jealous! I would give my left kidney to build a house.

Maybe you should eat more fast food to give Dax a little chubba. It's a good excuse for a binge-fest, anyway.

Yay! for you! I don't envy you. but I can't wait to keep updated on the progress. Keep feeding that boy, he will chunk up. He's adorable.

cool! congrats! it would be so nice to be able to build, that way you know that any messes and weird stains are your own doing and not some question mark about the previous owner.

Oh i was also going to say, i looked up Gracie's weight at that age and she was just barely bigger. i am still a little amazed that my Dr didn't have us supplementing. My poor thing didn't hardly even grow until i stopped nursing and got her on formula. i sometimes wonder if it would have been better for her if i would have just followed what my gut was telling me and supplemented instead of doing what the dr said and not. oh well, live and learn. hopefully the little man will start gaining some chub so you don't have to worry. Does he have reflux? is that what the meds are for?
